I used with edamame instead and it’s delisshhhh.
i only have homemade frozen tempeh and i have to cook it before using it (to lose the bitterness). So it would be a bit more wet when using. Do you think it would still work if i just crumble it with my hands and pan fry it a bit longer?
An easy way to use up leftover tempeh. Took less than 40 minutes to make for sure.
J'avais peur de ne pas aimer le dip de petits pois mais c'est vraiment très bon et le crumble de tempeh aussi ! Les deux ensemble, ça ne pouvait être que délicieux avec le meilleur truc du monde : le pain lol
I ended up using both parsley and tarragon, because I love tarragon. The smashed peas were so good and with the different tastes. I crumbled up the tempeh a bit too much, but still a great balance to the rest. Added a bit of green tabasco to the whole thing. Just Yum all around
So good!! Has become my go to breakfast 😊 It’s quite plain apart from the lemon juice which I like.
So good and simple! ❤️
Just made this for lunch. Delicious and easy. Will certainly do again
Delicious ! I used fresh green beans. Normally I don't like this vegetable, but like that just a new fabulous taste !
I've been looking for ways to incorporate tempeh into my weekly routine for a while now so THANK YOU for this! It was a lovely breakfast and I love how nourishing it is! However, mine came out a bit too mellow, flavour-wise... I personally feel like it really needs some garlic to scratch the savoury itch and maybe a bit more of a hero flavour like mint or cilantro. Will definitely make it again, though, and I'll definitely use the tempeh crumble for Bolognese, lasagna or tacos or any other "ground beef" situation!
This was the best breakfast I have had in a while! I think this recipe is genius!
This was a lovely alternative to avocado toast. The peas added a light, fresh touch and brought a unique, delicious flavor to the dish. I did find the mash a bit tart for my taste, so next time I might skip the yogurt or reduce the lemon juice. Overall, it was really tasty, and using cilantro instead of parsley was a delicious twist!
Tried this, swapping the tempeh for tofu. It was very delicious!
So easy but so tasty!
