This recipe couldn't be easier! No cooking required—simply mash some ingredients in a bowl, then assemble the sandwich. The chipotle peppers lend a delightful smoky flavor with a hint of spice, while the addition of red cabbage provides a satisfying crunch.

As a sucker for chilies this was heaven! Had it on a dark rye bread which complemented the flavours really well 😍

Absolutely amazing! The bread I used Had italian herbs and dried tomatos, so I added italian herbs to the beans as well to make it more cohesive. The cabbage with salt and vinegar was a total win

Ooo that sounds incredible, Clara, love how you tied it all together with the herbed bread and beans! So glad you enjoyed it 😊

This is so colorful nd flavorful. One of my personal favorites. Did drizzle tahini nd maple syrup on top and also added added some roasted pecans chopped. Was simply superb. Best part of the recipe was your Chipotle.

Would this work with your vegan feta recipe? I'm trying to think of something to make the spice less intense!
PUL Team - May 31, 2025, 7:40 p.m.
Hey Nohya! This one could definitely work with the vegan feta recipe! To tone down the spice, you could consider using less chipotle pepper. Another option is using hummus instead of the chickpea bean spread. For example, you may like our "Hummus Avocado Toast" or "Loaded Toast with Creamy Avocado Spread" instead 😊

In the end it was not too spicy, and it worked very well with the feta! Everyone loved this!!

Just made this for dinner, and it was a hit! Super easy and quick to put together, especially when using pre-shredded cabbage. We’ll definitely be making this again.

Woohoo! So glad to hear this, Kate, and love the idea of using pre-shredded cabbage for ease ✨
