These grilled sandwiches are somewhere between a PB & J sandwich and french toast. We swapped the regular peanut butter for almond and paired it with blackberry jam. A dusting of icing sugar makes these an extra special breakfast treat.Servings

A little too sweet for me and the sandwich was difficult to flip in the plan, but because of this I will be putting pear in my next PB&J! 😋

Unbelievable delicious! I love how adding sugar to the vegan butter caused it to caramelize onto the bread. I will certainly make this one again!
This is really good! I tried it with almond butter and tahin. I also substitute the Jam for a sugar-free plum compott. This makes it feel like the best autumn breakfast treat.
