I made it today and it was delicious. The crunchy topping was so good, maybe next time I will add some extra.
I omitted the nutritional yeast as I didn't have any.
The recipe is definitely worth the time it took.
I was looking for a last minute fancy breakfast idea for Father’s Day and just happened to have all these ingredients on hand! My partner loves blueberries so I stirred some frozen blueberries in the casserole and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the awesome recipe
Yum, loved this!
It took over 1 h to mąkę (which is fairly stated, just I’m very impatient in mornings hah); so unless you’ve got a big family and they’ll be taking ‚relais’ next time to do it for you, id say don’t bother and stick to the simpler pan version, which is deliciius. For 2 ppl dont bother
Made this today for a potluck at work and everyone loved it, just made one adjustment to the recipe to make it a touch sweeter but it was still very delicious!
I’ve made this for two birthday gatherings now and it was a bit both times! Thank you so much it’s delicious
My husband used to be a great fan of bread puddings made German style and no vegan recipe has satisfied him so far -they were soggy, or bland- until I made this one this morning! Sweet, crunchy, soft, flavorful! Thank you Sadia and PUL team!
Okay wow, this was amazing 👏 If you have stake bread laying around definitely use it in this recipe!
This smells so good right out of the oven. I drizzled a little bit of maple syrup on it and it was delicious. The crunch of the almonds is a nice touch. Next time I would add apples in the crumble part.
Wow, this was delicious! I used 8 slices of bread since the slices were on the thinner side. I baked it in an 8x8 glass dish and topped with blackberries & raspberries. A huge hit on Christmas morning.
This was incredible! I like to do reuse my old bread instead of chucking it out, but sometimes I struggle.
This was also perfect for Christmas brunch. Even my dad liked this and he can definitely be picky!
Hit the spot for this classic craving. We cut the sugar by a bit and also swapped nuts for seeds and oats for an allergen friendly crumble. Topped with yogurt and chia and flax for even more protein. Will make again!
Interesting and different type of breakfast than what I am used to. The crunchy topping took it to a higher level👌🏻. Not sure if the amount of ground flaxseeds is a tad too much, but I will experiment on that 😊
I tried it with canned peaches and whipping cream the first time, which became delicious
Delightful!
everybody loved it. Perfect for the weekend.
It’s a perfect Sunday breakfast! Really tasty and quite easy to make. I think next time I’ll add an apple, it would go well together
Absolutely delicious, the nooch and black salt really do add an incredible depth of flavor, as odd as they sound. I would not make this for breakfast again, however. It’s not actually THAT sweet, but sweet enough that it made me feel a bit sick. That’s a me thing, I’m sensitive to sugar- nothing wrong with the recipe. Give it a try!
I could bathe in this it's so good!!
It's only made 4 servings for us though and not 6, just something to be aware of.
