A simple but delicious breakfast option for weekdays and weekends. I tweaked the proportions in the recipe to make it more filling for me😊. I toasted (without oil) two thin slices of sourdough bread and spread 2 tablespoons (30 g) of almond butter on top before topping with approx 100g of fruits and berries. It is fun to have a breakfast option in which one can vary the toppings! I used banana coins and blackberries when I tried the first time. In the recipe with default amounts, 1/4 cup of almond butter per 2 slices of bread appears to be too much: the surface of 2 slices is not sufficient for so much nut butter, although it can certainly depend on the consistency

A little messy to eat but delicious. I used Trader Joe’s Pugliese artisan bread.
