That was WAY too much salt! Maybe 1Tbs was a typo? Next time I'll probably put like 1tsp or 1/2 tsp, my tongue is hurt but I did not want it to go to waste so ate it all. Anyway, other than that, the texture is great, I'm sure with a smaller amount of salt it might be nice, will have to make again to properly rate this later!

Hey Nohya, aw we’re really sorry about the salt overload! That was definitely a typo, please accept my sincerest apologies. We indeed meant 1 teaspoon to season before baking, *not* 1 tablespoon. In this recipe, the potatoes are first boiled in 1 tablespoon of salted water (which helps season them throughout), but that water gets drained. Then they get a second, much smaller addition of 1 teaspoon of salt to season the outside before roasting. Thanks so much for catching this - the recipe is updated! One small note as well: different salts have different strengths. For example, fine table salt is much more concentrated than flaky sea salt, so a teaspoon of one can taste wildly different from a tablespoon of the other. If you're unsure, best to add less and you can always add more to taste later. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, it helps us improve our recipe. Hope you enjoy it much more next time 💛

It's also my bad for not thinking that through, once I put the second 1Tbsp on the potatoes, I tasted them and realized then it was too much ^^' I still see the typo on the recipe by the way!

Hey Nohya! No it's totally our bad, and thanks for checking. We updated the typo on our end, but in the app it sometimes takes a little time for the cached version of a recipe to refresh. It should update automatically for you within 24 - 48h (closing and re-opening the app might help). Again, really appreciate you flagging it for us 💛

Wow what a perfect side dish for our burger! We loved trying out this new way to make potatoes in the oven and really enjoyed the crunchy texture. Thank you!
