You guys really have a talent for presenting food :D For me it basically was eating hot banana, so not as special as it looks in the picture. But at least it was really quick and effortless to make.

I don't have a grill pan. Has anyone ever tried this in an air fryer?

Oou we're keen to hear if anything else has tried too, Simone! In the meantime, in case it helps and if I had to guess (haven't tried it yet personally): place the bananas cut-side up in the basket and air fry at around 375°F (190°C) for 6 to 8 minutes, keeping a close eye on them toward the end. They won't have the grill marks, though the flavour and texture should still be yummy. Let us know how it goes if you try it out! ☺️

I tried it out in an air fryer and it’s yummy. I also tried a slice on a cast iron pan but it didn’t cook all the way through.
191 C for 6 minutes was enough for 5 slices to cook through and caramelise 😁😁

Sounds delicious! Do you think these can be cooked in the oven, too?

Heyy Franziska, thanks for the question! We haven’t tried it in the oven, but we imagine it could work. Perhaps you could place the bananas cut side up on a baking sheet, and roast them at around 375°F (190°C). Grilling tends to cook quicker, so they'll likely need a bit more time to caramelize. Let us know if you experiment with it 🤗

2 bananas makes 6 servings?
PUL Team - Jan. 28, 2026, 5:57 a.m.
Oops! Thanks for catching that, Leah! That was a typo on our end, it’s meant to be 2 servings, not 6. We’ve updated it, but a headsup it may take a little time to show up on your phone. Closing and reopening the app can help refresh it. Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know! <3
