If I were to use the basis of this recipe to make homemade unsweetened applesauce- would I just omit the sugar?

Hey Jack, you bet! Homemade applesauce is quite literally only apples, but we like to add the lemon for a bit more zest and to help prevent the apples from browning, and the cinnamon adds a lovely warmth. We hope you enjoy the applesauce 🤗
