Sweet & Spicy Gochujang Tofu

This mouthwatering tofu, marinated in a sweet and spicy mix, is perfect alongside any Asian-inspired vegetable dish, rice, or noodles, enhancing both flavour and protein content. The gochujang imparts a unique taste with a hint of heat, perfectly offset by the caramel notes of maple syrup. For the best flavour experience, prepare the marinade in advance and allow the tofu to soak up the flavours overnight in the fridge.

Very delicious recipe! We had to use a little more maple syrup so it was more sweet rather than spicy. It is just a family preference. We ate the tofu with brown rice and some vegetables on the side to make it a full meal. We would definitely make it again.

What is the best way to reheat leftover tofu? I’ve never cooked with it and I need tips!

Heyy Kate, it's a lovely question! Leftover tofu from the fridge is best reheated in a skillet over medium heat for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. This helps bring back some of the crispy, golden edges from when it was first cooked. If you're short on time, you can also reheat it in the microwave for a minute or so.

If reheating from frozen, we recommend letting the tofu thaw overnight in the fridge first. Once thawed, reheat it in a skillet or microwave. Hope you love the tofu adventures 🤗✨
