Very good sauce! I make it with half the sambal oelek and the chili because I'm pretty heat sensitive, it's easy to make and yummy, with the perfect texture!
Beautiful sauce! Technically I accidentally didn't follow the instructions with the two part cooking process. I put it all together in one bowl and then cooked it. Whoops! It still turned out delicious and so much better than store bought!
A bit too spicy for my taste, but very good though. Next time, I'll reduce the heat.
Delicious quick and easy sauce. I enjoy this sauce from restaurants, but my husband isn’t a fan of it. However! He did enjoy this one. We both enjoy a lot of heat, and this sauce proved to provide a good kick. So I’d suggest watching out for those who prefer more of a subtle kick. This is my new go-to sweet chili sauce for sure!
I can' even tell you enough how much money you save me, for this and other sauces, dressings etc. I've always bought bottles of this sauce, then so much gets wasted when we can't use it fast enough. To be able to make just what I need is just the best!!
I've made my own Sambal Oelek from HOT chillis. I'll have to define my version of this recipe as a HOT sweet chilli sauce. Tastes amazing 😁
Can I use potato starch instead of corn starch?
Really like this recipe. Way cheaper and better because you don't add any preservatif.🤤😊
How do you store this and how long does it keep?
Yum! This sauce is so delicious! I didn't have samba oelek, so I substituted Trader Joe's Harrissa paste. Definitely a keeper!
