Hands down the best use for a head of red cabbage. I’m sure it’s delicious with mashed potatoes (and I’m excited to try them together) but right right now I’m just eating it straight out of the pot like it’s dessert!

The best stewed cabbage I have ever eaten in my life! 💯 unexpected combination of ingredients for me, but it appears to be a delicious dish!

Thank you for the recipe♥️

It's so good! And easy to cook, we'll make it again! First time we ate it with pasta, which was ok, and second time with mashed potatoes, which was absolutely the best!! I think from now on I'll only make it with mashed potatoes, the pairing is so nice!

I would love to try this, is there any alternitive to the wine that you can recommend? (I don't like the tast of it, so I wouldn't want to buy a whole bottle). Thank you in advance!

Hi Tina! We haven't tried though we imagine you could substitute the wine with vegetable broth, unsweetened grape juice, or just a splash of apple cider vinegar for acidity. Just be sure to give the recipe a taste and adjust it if needed 🤗

All right thank a lot!

I also don’t cook with red wine so I just used a half cup of water with a bit of red wine vinegar. It turned out delicious!!
