Loved the flavors, but bought the wrong bulgur, so we wound up with yummy stew! Will try again with the correct ingredients!
Is there any substitute for the bulgur?
This is one of my all-time favorite recipes. It's a staple in my house because it ticks all the boxes: flavorful, easy to make, cheap and healthy. If you're hesitating to make this right now, go for it!
The fresh and spiced flavours were divine! It would benefit from some nutty crunch - definitely recommed adding toasted nuts or seeds to garnish. I'm curious bout how the balls might taste after baking in the oven for some crunch and toasty flavour... will try doing this and adding the lemon afterwards next time!
As someone from Turkey, this recipe definitely works great and highly recommended 👌 it is insanely delicious and great for a gathering to surprise your guests 😊
My turkish friends said it tasted exactly like the ones they knew from home! Mine was also too wet to form balls but once it cooled down it got much firmer and was easier to handle
It was so delicious, my mom also loved it 🥰
