One of my favourite ones ❤️Amazing taste, would be great to see more recipes like this, spices and taste closer to Mediterranean
I lived in Morocco for a year after high school and I have been loving your Moroccan recipes so much 🥹 I don’t know how you do it, but every one has transported me straight back to my host mom’s kitchen!!! Loubia was my absolute favorite, and this turned out exactly how I remember it.
(Ps- I would absolutely love to see your take on tfaya because that was another one of my favs)
Warm and comfort food! 🥘
I used canned tomatoes instead of fresh ones but it still was really good!!! One of my fave feel-good meals. I sometimes add spinach or kale for a bit more greens!
Loved it, made it for the four or us last night with sourdough bread and vegan aioili. So much flavor! Made it with a mix of chickpeas and lima beans which worked well!
Gosh, this was so good! So much flavor. Tossed in a couple sliced, spicy Italian, vegan sausage at the end. Very hearty dinner.
Lovely! Maybe I would use less water and more beans. Mine turned out more as a soup, but still delicious!
Lived it perfect for winter 👍
Tasty! Though mine turned out more like a soup than a stew. Maybe because I used canned not fresh tomatoes?
Quick, easy and yummy😊 I added handful of spinach to eat some leafy greens
Should I use 1 (15 oz) can of crushed tomato if not using fresh? Or the larger 28 oz?
Warm, heart and simple! Added a splash of lemon juice to help balance the flavours.
Fantastic tasty dish. I didn't have cannellini beans so I used a variety of others and it came out great. Non-vegans in the house loved it.
Hey do you have a feature where I can put in what I have in my fridge like I have spinach rainbow Swiss chard tofu and show recipes to make...
One the best recipes on the app and so so easy
Wow. Amazing. Used only 1/2 of the cayenne pepper. And it has some spice but it’s perfect for someone who does not like spice. Thank you!!!
One of my favourite winter dishes! We have a similar one in Greece and we call it “fasolada”, from the word “fasoli” which means bean.the difference is that we do not use garlic and cilantro, but we add celery!! Thanks for sharing all these tasty dishes Sadya!!
I wanna try this small dish 😋 😩
I cannot believe how delicious this was! I realized after starting that I had chickpeas not white beans but even with the substitution this was fantastic. I love how other than the onion it was entirely a pantry meal. Perfect for when you’re low on groceries and energy and want something cozy and comforting.
Very good although not my husbands favorite. Loved the fresh simple flavor.
Total comfort food, super easy and delicious will definitely make again!
all the things i like: beans, tomato, bread. quick and delicious and i get to eat it all because my bf isn’t a fan of beans 😋
Hey I will be be meal prepping this today, does anyone know if it’s okay for freezing? I would quite like to freeze it as I’ll be batch cooking a lot this week :)
Ok, here are my thoughts:
Overall a very tasty recipe. I like vegetable stock cube in this recipe. The spices are great. It's perfect dish for winter but can be enjoyed all year round imo.
However the recipe suggests adding tomato paste first and then beans, crushed tomatoes, etc.
I found a recipe that suggests adding the crushed tomatoes first (to onion/garlic) and the tomato paste later on (when adding the beans, water, parsley, coriander).
When I was following the PUL recipe initially I almost burnt the dish as it was dry (onion/garlic, tomato paste, spices) - perhaps I should have lowered the heat a bit.
All in all, it's super tasty. Goes well with toasted bread. Might also squeeze some lemon juice over it next time round to add some zest.
Rating: 9/10
Almost didn’t do this and then nearly added more spice but this is a simple tasty meal that is quick and delicious !
This was absolutely delicious. Definitely adding this to my staples! Love it!
I made this today for supper. I wasn't sure it would be so flavourful because the ingredients are pretty simple. I was pleasantly surprised. I love the flavors, but I found it a bit spicy, I will lower the amount of cayenne pepper the next time I make it. Other than my sad heat tolerance in food, this food was satisfying and felt so healthy in my system. I will add this dish to my fall rotation. Yum.
Wonderful recipe. I added some 1 minutes wilted steamed spinach as additional leafy greens. Delicious
It's so so so good! I made some garlic toast to go along with it, works fine ☺️
Really delicious! Because my doctor wants me incorporating bone broth, I used that rather than water. I made it for dinner. It was so good I craved it the next morning when I woke up so had it with scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Easy to make and very tasty! I love the soup combined with the crunchy toasted bread, it’s the perfect blend of textures and a great comfort food!
Delicious and simple to make. Saved a little bit and had with mushrooms, tinned plum tomato and hash browns for a Sunday Brunch. My other half loved it and kept saying so.
Very delicious. We added some kale and this tasted great!
This was sooooo good and easy to make.
Hi! I've got dried beans. How can I proceed for the recipe please? :)
Very good and simple to make.
Delicious! Loads of flavor. Glad I grated the tomatoes instead of opting for canned as it tasted really fresh. Thanks PUL for another fab recipe
It’s lobio, if you mean the Georgian dish :)
This looks delicious! How many cans of crushed tomatoes should I get instead of the fresh ones?
