Maria - Feb. 10, 2026, 9:56 p.m.

Finally made them and will definitely make them again! Mine took a lot longer to cook and they still tasted a bit like uncooked legumes. But adding flavourful toppings helped with that.
Also, if you make a very thin wrap and accidentally forget about it (on lower heat) 🙈... You'll have made the most awesome lentil chips!!! Couldn't stop eating it. Will definitely try to repeat that accident with a bit more purpose, maybe adding some spices to the mix!

Aww so happy you enjoyed them, Maria, and love that you discovered the lentil chips! In case it helps for next time, cooking them a little longer and slightly thinner helps mellow the legume flavour. Each stove is different in how intense it cooks things up, so if needed, feel free to drop the heat further to allow cooking for longer. And using toppings is great to balance the taste. Thanks so much for sharing your experience ☺️

Em - Aug. 30, 2024, 11:23 p.m.

Made these a couple of times now and love them!! So easy to make and they freeze well too! (Definitely need a non-stick frying pan though as my first attempt failed!)
Have used them as wraps but they also make good pancakes too if you top them with some soya yogurt and berry compote 😅

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 1, 2024, 4:28 a.m.

Woohoo! So glad that you're enjoying the lentil wraps, Em 🤗

Kenkin Morales González - Aug. 7, 2024, 8:19 p.m.

Me encantó! Súper ricas y facilísimas!

Andromahi - July 13, 2024, 10:45 p.m.

i’m surprised and really disappointed, I followed this recipe exactly and it did not work out at all. This is a first. Really dismayed.

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 13, 2024, 11:47 p.m.

Hey Andromahi, aw we're really sad and disappointed to hear this as well 😔 by "did not work out", do you mean that the wraps didn't hold their shape? Or perhaps that they stuck to the pan? If so, we've heard that being sure to use a non-stick pan and preheating the pan has helped others. We're here to support where we can 🤗

Martunia - June 9, 2024, 7:50 p.m.

The recipe is great, but I would suggest to double the portion number, as this amount of water and lentils makes 12 wraps - I used a 60 ml measuring cup, so I know this for sure 😉

PUL small logo PUL Team - June 10, 2024, 5:20 p.m.

Hey Martunia, that's correct thanks so much for catching that! We've updated the recipe to indicate the correct number of wraps it makes 🫶

Apek - April 14, 2024, 12:40 a.m.

Very easy and yummy for beginners 👍👍.

Loana Eva - March 18, 2024, 3:27 p.m.

So easy and so tasty:)
Thanks!

Anita - Feb. 27, 2024, 8:26 a.m.

Incredibly easy to make! Surprisingly noone mentioned it yet but from the batter not 6 but at least 12 wraps come out. I used 1/4 cup of batter for each.

Amy Stieg - Feb. 25, 2024, 12:42 a.m.

Doth my eyes deceive me?¿ I can't wait to make this!

PUL small logo PUL Team - Feb. 25, 2024, 7:40 p.m.

We hope you enjoy the wraps, Amy!

Sage - Feb. 15, 2024, 3:11 p.m.

Oh I am surprised that we'd be adding the same water it was soaking in, I totally thought it absorbed the phytic acid but now that I'm reading about it, I see it contains nutrients.

In a recent video you talk about swapping out water for soaking BEANS a few times (if possible) - can you explain this a bit more to me?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Feb. 15, 2024, 4:48 p.m.

Hey Sage, thanks for the question! When soaking beans, changing the water several times helps remove some of the indigestible sugars that can cause gas. Lentils tend to be more gentle on our system and cause less gas. Perfect 😍 and a fantastic article. Thank you!

Lenka Klapalová - Feb. 3, 2024, 12:07 p.m.

These 'pancakes' are so yummy and smooth. They remind me a bit of the Italian cecina flatbread. Thank you 🤍

Valeria - Jan. 18, 2024, 8:35 p.m.

Hi. Can’t wait to make these yet. If I soak the lentils overnight but only want to cook the wraps the following night, can I keep the blended mixture all day in the fridge or should I cook them immediately? Asking because concerned if I don’t cook it right away that it might not come out well??

PUL small logo PUL Team - Jan. 19, 2024, 5:26 a.m.

Hey Valeria, we haven't tried it but imagine it should work. Just make sure to cover the batter in the fridge, and when you're ready to cook, give it a good stir before making the wraps. If it's too thick you can always add more water to thin it out 🤗

eve - Jan. 1, 2024, 5:31 p.m.

Can these be frozen?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Jan. 3, 2024, 7:09 a.m.

Hey Eve, we haven't tested it out though we imagine these lentil wraps can be frozen! Once cooked, you can let them cool completely, layer them between sheets of parchment paper to prevent sticking, and then store them in an airtight container or freezer bag. Do let us know if you test it out 🤗✨

Cherie - June 3, 2025, 8:59 a.m.

I’ve tried freezing them and it worked for me. I’ll probably batch cook them once a month. Really tasty and I’m guessing much healthier than the shop bought corn / wheat wraps I usually buy.

iwa - Dec. 23, 2023, 11:11 p.m.

In love with this simple and great recipe!

Gesa - Dec. 15, 2023, 8:13 p.m.

Hey, I would love to try these wraps but I have one quick question: do I need to rinse the lentils before soaking them like I usually do with red lentils? Or will it alter the result?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 16, 2023, 7:08 a.m.

Hey there, Gesa, yes you can rinse the lentils before soaking! This can help get rid of any debris and won't impact the outcome of the wrap 😊

Gesa - Dec. 16, 2023, 12:51 p.m.

Thank you so much for your quick reply! Will try to make them tonight! ♥️

Julie Jacquet - Dec. 1, 2023, 1:54 p.m.

This recipe is an incredibly well-kept secret. Why doesnt everyone know ablut this? So simple and tasty...and healthy! ten on ten.

PUL small logo PUL Team - Dec. 2, 2023, 3:08 a.m.

Aw we're so happy to hear the wraps are being enjoyed, Julie, thank you 😊

Janice Dublanko - Nov. 30, 2023, 8:10 p.m.

Easy and good...

Lara - Oct. 16, 2023, 6:47 a.m.

This worked really well and was absolutely delicious! I recommend using a hot pan and covering the wrap with a lid while baking so the top cooks faster and flipping is easier. :)

tia taber - Sept. 28, 2023, 5:51 p.m.

These are so flavorful! Even the kids love them!

Nele - Aug. 20, 2023, 10:53 p.m.

This is my very first recipe out of 100% perfect PUL ones that failed.
Although I followed the measurements, the pancakes could not be flipped, they formed a puree. The taste was blend.
Is assume you can add lots of spices, no?
But first get the texture right.

PUL small logo PUL Team - Aug. 21, 2023, 4:45 a.m.

Hey Nele, oh no! We're so sad to hear the wraps didn't turn out. Did you add the soaking water to the blender? I also wonder if you used red lentils or a different type of lentils? Red lentils are preferred here over brown or green lentils to achieve the right texture. We're here to support in any way we can! 🙂

StefP. - Aug. 27, 2023, 6 p.m.

The same thing happened to me the first few times I tried but realized that the problem was my pan! It wasn’t non stick and just made it moosh! Try a non stick pan! Hope this helps 😊

Katrina - Oct. 1, 2023, 8:25 p.m.

Hey! It also took me many tries to make it work! I had to learn the right combination of heat level and time to cook for my pan. Many fails but once I got it right the wraps were amazing!

Carolina - July 29, 2023, 3:58 p.m.

Incredible!! My whole (not vegan) family loves it!

steph - July 28, 2023, 10:09 p.m.

Oh my god…they are amazing! I was a little in doubt that just lentils and water can taste good-but they are heavenly❣️ Even my kids had some…love them most when served still warm. We spread a little hummus and some fresh spring onion on top🥰

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 29, 2023, 1:22 a.m.

Aw so happy to hear, Steph, thank you! 😃

Michal - July 24, 2023, 1:07 a.m.

Easy to make & not too fiddly. Used them as wraps for a tomato salad, delish. :)

Maisy Hyland - July 23, 2023, 4:19 a.m.

I actually took these and made them into pancakes by adding maple syrup and cinnamon!! Added a bunch of fruit and it was delicious! Thank you for the recipe 😊

PUL small logo PUL Team - July 25, 2023, 6:11 a.m.

Ooo what a cool idea! Thank you, Maisy 🤩

Allison Sedmak - July 20, 2023, 1:50 a.m.

These are easy and so good. I fry them up in a bit of coconut oil for tortillas. I’ll also leave the batter a bit thick and eat them as pancakes with maple syrup.

Jennifer Christin-Sophie - July 19, 2023, 9:29 p.m.

love them.
