That icing with the crunchy and sweet nuts on top was sooooo decadent. Perfect with the cake since it wasn’t very sweet. My 9 year old loved it too.
Delicious. Skipped the icing this time to reduce the calories and sugar. Even without the loaf is delicious. The nuts inside make it extra yum. This is a keeper.
Question: how not to overmix? I mean how to mix so that it doesn't get overmixed? How many times I should run spatula through mixture? Is it okay that few bits of flour looked dry ?
The candied walnuts were everything!!! Not to be missed! I used GF oat flour to make it GF and it worked a treat.
Incredibly delicious! Made it for my 25th birthday and the candied walnuts stole the show!! I can never make frosting stay together and firm though so would appreciate some tips!
Dear PUL team, I’d like to make muffins of this recipe - do you know how I can adjust the oven time?
What can I replace applesauce with? I don't have access to it
This was very delicious! The mocha and walnut complement each other very well.
Delicious cake, my friends and family loved it. Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe 🥰
I don't like the taste of coffee. Can I substitute the coffee by anything else?
Everyone loved it, it was so delicious that my family ask me to do it again bc it was so yummy
Do you use real coffee powder or instant coffee powder? Thanks :)
Delicious! I made this into a pecan cake instead as we all prefer pecans over walnuts as a family. It was incredible! I’d love to remake it with the intended walnuts some day.
Incredible flavour! The coffee-taste is not too strong, it tastes like soft caramelly mocha. I had too little frosting or I had piped it on too thickly, as I managed to cover 3/4ths of the cake. It was delicious and simple to make nevertheless.
