I am not a fan of walnuts. Do you think pecans would work well?
Easy to make and super good ! And it's easy to vary the filling and the flavours (vanilla, orange blossom, chestnut, almond, pistachio, chocolate... !)
Hi PUL team! So glad to see Eastern European inspired recipes! I'm a traditionally trained pastry chef, though not working in the field.
On this note, Is this recipe like what we call "Bejgli" in Hungary? Bejgli's dough is like a very low rise dough with a tiny bit crumbly/layered texture.
Thanks for veganizing these nostalgic recipes đ
Is there a substitute for oil can I use olive oil or coconut oil
Any substitute for whipping cream?
