We had this wonderful cake for Father's Day. I still need to improve my swiss roll -skills 🤭, but even as a cracked, slightly slumped roll it tasted heavenly, and was nice and light - perfect for a summer-time party. The whipped cream/cream cheese -filling is sooo good. I didn't use any cream stabilizer, though (don't know where to find some), but I think it still turned out really well. 😋

In case it helps for the cream stabilizer, the one we often use is called Klop Fix here in the Netherlands, and in North America the equivalent would be Dr. Oetker Whip It, although any brand works just fine! If your local store doesn’t carry it, you may have better luck finding it online through a larger retailer. Hope this helps, and I'm happy to hear the cake worked out well without it! 🤗✨

Hello. Is it possible tu Substitution the Xanthan Gum? 🙏🥰

Hiii Gabi 😊 We haven’t tested any substitutions for the xanthan gum, so we can’t recommend a swap. The xanthan gum helps make the cake a bit more flexible, so without it, the cake may be slightly more delicate and prone to cracking ❣️
