I was a bit sceptical because I wasn't familiar with the spices, but the pies were great! Planned to have them as a snack over a few days, but they got eaten the first evening.
Hi, I really wantbyo try making these but I have no chance of finding oyster mushrooms or Sambar oelek here (french countryside)...could I use ordinary mushrooms and something like harissa instead?
Thanks
Should these be frozen before being baked, or after?
I just tried these tonight and I plan to freeze them but we had to try one which then turned into two! They are so delicious and I will definitely be making them again. I didn't manage to get the full number of pies so I must have rolled out the dough too thickly. Next time I'll see if I can use shop-bought stuff just to see if this makes a difference.
10/10 though! Thank you.
