As someone raised in a family whose love language is sharing food, making meals for my little one has quickly become one of my favourite things. But a recipe that I can make for her and then tweak slightly for Robin and me? Brilliant. This soup fits the bill, with red lentils for iron, vitamin C-rich bell pepper to help support iron absorption, and carrots for natural sweetness. Blend it smooth or leave a little texture, and serve it with soft toasted bread for dipping as feeding skills develop.

Hi! Silly question perhaps but what would be tweaked to make it for adults as opposed to a little one ? :)

Heyy Arlyn! Not a silly question at all ☺️ You could leave the soup a little chunkier rather than blending it completely smooth if you’d like some texture, and add some extra seasoning to taste, like salt, black pepper, or a squeeze of lemon juice. The recipe also includes optional yogurt and toasted bread for serving, although feel free to add any other favourite toppings too! 🧡
