Surpringly mild and soothing recipe with the twist of peaches for extra fun. I am adding this recipe to my rotation. I grated the carrots instead, since where I live they are big and not so soft, and the ingredients softened perfectly. Instead of bell peppers, I used up a red and a green paprika and Japanese soy sauce that I already had. The dish turned out amazing! Thanks Sadia and team 😀
This was good, flavors were very interesting.
Cooked this for my neighbors
They were so thrilled !
The peach in chickpea …. Who would’ve thunk.
Loved by all
Hi, do you by any chance know if adding tofu, tempeh or any other a bit higher in protein plant source would destroy the taste?🤔 (it looks delitious though😋)
This was a pleasant surprise! Our whole family including some picky eaters really loved this dish! I left out the chili so that everyone could add it as pleased. This is not anything super special but as someone already stated this is going to be one of our stable picks for weekdays.
I made this recipe yesterday, and I was amazed by the result!
I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant about adding the peaches, but they turned out to be a game-changer. The combination with the chickpeas is surprisingly delicious! I followed the instructions exactly, and the dish turned out perfect.
I will definitely make it again!
This is amaaazing and super easy to make! Even tho I didn’t had carrots or canned peaches it seems everything turned out so tasty!
I can’t wait to do it again sometime 💖
Delicious recipe - I’ve added fresh peaches (50% fresh, 50% canned) and I can also highly recommend it. The canned peaches add an extra sweet taste so I wouldn’t use only fresh peaches. Also, we added a bit more of Ketsjap manis & tomato puree to avoid burning in the beginning
Almost like a sweet and sour dish from takeout. The sweet and sour flavor could be just a little bit puncher, but this was a nice, easy recipe to make mid-week.
This was absolutely divine! The flavours and texture was just so stunning and I’ve cooked for for so many people now who have all joined your app as a result! I cooked the veg for more time that was stated and I added some veg stock too. 🥰
Very nice!
I had to triple the cooking time for the carrots to be cooked though. Will adjust the size of the chunks accordingly next time. I added some soy yogurt and lime juice as toppings! 😋
