What is chilli crisp? Chilli flakes?

It is chili flakes infused in an oil base, usually also with garlic and onion as well. It’s a crunchy, umami topping that has a bit of spice as well.

Hiii Sonaal, thank you for the question! and thanks a bunch for chiming in, Justice πŸ€—πŸ’› chili crisp is indeed a spicy chili oil with crispy bits of garlic, onion, and chili flakes mixed in. It adds a little heat and crunch to dishes.

In case it helps, we usually find it in the International aisle of our local grocery store, but your local Asian supermarket would carry it as well 🫢
