Cauliflower Pakoras
Pakoras are an Indian appetizer made with chickpea flour and spices. We made them with cauliflower, but you can also use peppers, cabbage, or zucchini. The cauliflower gets dipped into the batter and then fried. They are delicious, crunchy and perfect as an appetizer. They are best served with some delicious tomato chutney.Servings

This one didn't quite hit the spot for me. The pakoras were crispy but also a bit more oily than I expected.
For my taste, they were a bit bland, or perhaps I underseasoned the mix. I think paring it with chutney is a must. That way, you have a nice balance.
Also, adding freshly grated ginger caused there to be lumps of ginger. I tried to spread it evenly, mixing it with hand. Still, there were pieces that had just a hint of ginger. On the other hand, there was a piece that had a lot of it, so it was overpowering. Perhaps using dried ginger would work better?
P.S. Unrelated, but when using the make function and timer, if I switch between the apps on my phone and then return to PUL, it loads/starts again, and I mist again find the recipe use the make function and the timer is not saved. Now, I use another timer as backup. Has anyone been experiencing something similar?
Not as crispy as I was expecting
Hi 😁 do you think I could bake it in the oven ?
Do you think that i can use airfryier? I am new to this device:)
Hi, I do really like your recipes. But please, please, include recipes using the air fryer as an alternative of using the oven or frying in oil. This is such a popular cooking device and I didn't find any recipe using it. Would be great if You also incluye it among the cooking appliances filters!! Thanks for all your efforts PUL team.
