Absolutely lovely, quick to make. I make this on the days I struggle to have breakfast to make it a bit more fun and it's great that it doesn't need to sit overnight. Not a huge fan of mixing peanut butter into chocolate or deserts but I feel it's a nice balance where it's not overwhelming.

Love this! Reminds me of the chocolate protein mousse from the supermarket. In any case, I like how great this is to prep for a few days, I enjoyed it as breakfast or snack even two days after making it and still tasted delicious!

I love your chia recipes! But does anyone get a weird bitter, sharp taste when they blend chia seeds? It almost ruins it for me, which is a bummer because these recipes are so awesome. Is there something wrong with my chia seeds? Have they gone bad? Thank you!
PUL Team - July 1, 2025, 10:40 p.m.
So glad you're loving the recipes, Shayda, and great question! Chia seeds can sometimes develop a bitter taste if they’ve gone rancid, especially if they’ve been stored for a while or exposed to heat or light. If the smell or taste seems sharp or off, it’s possible they’ve spoiled. You could try a fresh batch stored in an airtight container in a cool, dark place and see if that makes a difference ☺️
Shayda Abidi - July 1, 2025, 10:42 p.m.
I will try this! Thank you 😊
Willemijn Postel - Dec. 18, 2025, 11:27 a.m.
Thanks for your comment! This prevented the same mistake for me as I had opened old chia seeds and I tasted them before used. It indeed makes a big difference to the fresh packet I had

This is a great make ahead breakfast, don't normally like chai seed pudding but blending makes all the difference! Having tried it a few ways I prefer it with oat milk and without the coffee and find blending with less milk to start off and adding a you go gives a smother texture. Would the other chai seed pudding recipes in the app be bendable or would they need amends to work?
PUL Team - April 29, 2024, 4:19 p.m.
Hey Claire, we're so glad blending made a difference for you! Most chia seed pudding recipes can be blended for a smoother texture, but you might need to adjust the milk quantity. Happy cooking!

Delicious! I’ll definitely make this again! Love it with fresh berries. This was my first time having blended chia seeds and the texture was not my favorite, so next time I’ll probably shake everything together in a jar instead.
PUL Team - Dec. 14, 2023, 8:10 a.m.
Hey there, Audrey, how lovely to hear you enjoyed it! Blending or shaking sounds great based on your personal preference. Cheers to more delicious chia delights! 😊
Absolutely the best 🤩 I do have a question 😊 why is this chia pudding put in a blender, while in the other recipes the ingredients are just mixed in a bowl?
PUL Team - Oct. 5, 2023, 11:08 p.m.
Hey Luna, so glad you enjoyed it! We blended this one to help it be more creamy and smooth, and to help increase the absorption of the omega-3 fats which are found inside the seeds. You could opt to mix it in a bowl instead for a more textured chia pudding if you'd like 😊
