This dish came together easily and was just delicious. After reading some of the comments, I decided to steam my cauliflower for 8 minutes instead of boiling it for 10 minutes. It came out the perfect consistency with less water and an end result that was less soggy. I lightly patted it dry on a tea towel and it was wonderful. I also doubled the amount of Kashmiri chili. This had just the right amount of heat without being too much. This recipe is rich and very flavorful. I would definitely make it again.

I was in a mood for an Indian dish with cauliflower (very specific, I know) and decided to make this korma. The result is absolutely heavenly, and having a homemade naan alongside this dish completes it perfectly 👌

This came out very watery and as a result very mild. Was this due to the cauliflower? It still tasted good but it didn't feel like there was much depth to the flavour. The chilli flakes at the end really helped.

Heyy Phillipa, thanks so much for sharing this feedback, and we're glad to hear you still enjoyed it overall 🤗 Yes, the cauliflower can definitely be the culprit, and thanks so much for sharing, as we realized we didn't include the weight of the cauliflower. Our apologies for this, and it's since been added. We also updated the directions and ingredients a bit to help resolve some of what you mentioned, hopefully it helps if you ever give the recipe another go. Thanks so much for helping us improve our recipes!

This is delicious! As I have a picky husband who doesn't like boiled cauliflower, I roasted it instead and it worked. Love the flavours and the garnishes. The kitchen smelled fantastic when the whole spices were being cooked!

What would be the substitute for coconut milk for those of us who are not fond of the coconut flavor in the man dish ? Thanks in advance !

Heyy Fiona! We haven't tested it ourselves, but imagine unsweetened soy cream or cashew cream (blended soaked cashews + water) could work well to keep things rich and creamy without the coconut flavour 😊 hope you love the korma recipe if you're able to give it a try✨

The sauce is tasty. However, onion is listed in the ingredients and never mentioned in the directions. I blended it with the cashew paste but it did make it very oniony. Not sure if that was correct or if it was supposed to be cooked with the tofu.

Heyy Deirdre, thanks for flagging this! We’ve updated the written directions to clearly include when the onion should be added. Thanks for helping us catch this 💛 For reference, the onion is meant to be blended into the sauce. If it ended up tasting onion-forward, it may be that the onion used was on the larger side. Our small onions are usually around 70 grams.
Just in case it’s helpful for future recipes: tapping the red “Make” button opens step-by-step cooking instructions with photos, and the ingredients listed there are clickable too 🤗

Love it! Might need more salt/ sugar though!
