I used kite hill plain cream cheese, but my recipe turned out salty and not very sweet. Maybe I’ll try a strawberry cream cheese so it’s not so salty?

Heyy there, Natalie! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with this one. There can be differences in cream cheese from brand to brand. In case it helps, we use Violife’s “Creamy Original” which is coconut-based, and we find it pretty neutral. Using a strawberry cream cheese could also work too, let us know how it goes if you expirement with it! ✨

So wish I could upload a picture of my version. Might not be sweet enuf for kids but we absolutely loved it! I recommend mixing all the wet ingredients as per instruction - only add the strawberries at the very last and just give it a swirl or two - so the base is white against the pink - not sure if anyone has tried it pls lemme know. Ok grazie :)

What a great way of preserving a feeling of summer during autumn 🍂. Lovely snack that is easy to make, and I actually used a hand mixer to blend the strawberry mixture into a smooth texture. My only remark is that the default recipe managed to yield 16 bites; the strawberry mixture filled more than anticipated (my ice cube tray is not unusually small)

I felt it needed a little more sweetener than what I added (my strawberries weren’t too sweet), but other than that it’s a really nice treat and super easy to make.
