We really enjoyed the flavours but it was so rich that we both felt like we had had enough and I prefer the feeling of always wanting more.😅
I might try less gojuchang next time or maybe another brand that's a bit more spicy and a bit less sweet.
The best pasta I've ever had and made.
I really liked it! The gojuchang flavor is great. But I'll add more veggies next time, and maybe bits of tofu.
This was delicious and easy! I put half of the gochujang in the recipe and was perfect
This was a little average and not for me. The flavor felt a little flat to me, I added salt and pepper and lemon juice at the end to try and punch it up a bit more. It was easy and quick to put together though which I always appreciate.
I think I need to get some vegan parmesan or other cheese, unfortunately I don't have anymore nutritional yeast so that's definitely on my list again. Would also make again with maybe some adjustments. I recommend roasted sesame seeds on top
Reduced the gochujang by half, as european very tasty
This was delicious!! 😋
Absolutely delicious!
.
One of my favorites now that I discovered it! Very balanced, has that jackpot vegan dish quality! I adjusted the spice level down some with less g. paste
So quick to make!! Creamy, tasty - used 2tbsp gochujang as working on my spice tolerance:). Threw in some broccoli and frozen peas at the mushroom stage and topped with the remaining beans from my 520ml can. Thank you for another great recipe!
4.5⭐️ my friends loved it when they came over
Ooh🌶️🧯It's delicious. Thanks❤️🔥
Good but a bit too spicy
Very nice indeed! Loved the amount of spice and the creaminess of the sauce. Definitely make again!
This is so good!
Definitely deserves 5 stars, absolutely divine 😭🤤 thank you for another amazing and creative recipe! 💕
Such a comforting dish, simple and quick to make and the heat can be adjusted easily. Thanks for the recipe!
Yum! I had a little extra sauce for the pasta for my taste, but I’ll absolutely use it on something else. Great way to switch up week night pasta!
Very creamy and a good amount of spicyness. Lovely!
Skipped the beans and added rice vinegar and extra tablespoon of gochujang to the sauce. It was super flavorful!!
So tasty! The sauce is delicious and it’s such a balanced dish. Thanks so much!
Loved this recipe. The sauce was delicious and my eleven year old son gave it an 8 out of 10 and cleaned his plate. He was worried about the mushrooms so I cut the mushroom quantity in the recipe to half and added green peas in that step. Green peas worked well in case anyone else has mushroom cautious members of the family. Started using PUL a week ago and loved all the recipes so far!
Sauce has a lovely spice to it and one can easily make double the amount if needed for meal prep. Thank you for the awesome recipe!
Really tasty and easy to make
Hi PUL team, I would love to try out this recipe and other recipes of yours that has butter beans in it. But I have no idea what "butter beans" are and where to find it in France (google search leads no where lol). Can I substitute it for another ingredient? If yes which one? Thank you for your kind suggestion! :)
This turned out so tasty. And it makes so much! This is absolutely going into my regular rotation.
Quick, spicy, delicious, nutritious! A very nice recipe when one doesn't have a lot of time. Thank you!
lovely meal! The butter beans add a full bodied-ness to it which is wonderful. The spice level is just right
Pretty good
Made it with pasta and without the mushrooms, so good!!
One of our all-time favorite finds on this app - whenever we're able to find decent mushrooms, we make this.
Loved this recipe! Delicious 😍
Absolutely delicious 🤗
Woah! This is so yummy! Although I used oat milk instead, it still turned out creamy and delicious. I love the nutty flavour that comes with sesame oil, goes sooooo well with the shitake mushrooms (I used the fried ones because that's what I had 👀)
This one wasn’t my favorite, but still a nice filling recipe
Is it a good move to switch linguine with udon? :))
Amazing and quick (if you prep well)! Added some tofuslices for additional protein and it was amazing ❤️🔥
Not my favorite pasta recipe but still good.
Fantastic. My baby and my husband absolutely DEVOURED this. I halved the gochujang in the recipe so our baby could handle it and brought the bottle to the table for my husband who loves heat. I also subbed great northern beans for butter beans and a bag of frozen mixed mushrooms for the shiitakes so we didn’t have to go to the store or wait to cook the beans. We salted to taste, which made a huge difference, and absolutely loved it. Dinner was very noisy with my husband randomly announcing “Hun! This is amazing,” “Hun, I love this,” “Hun, this has such good flavors!” “You heard I’ve been craving pasta, thank you for making this!” It was just fabulous. For those who mentioned the sauce being overly runny, I let it lightly simmer for a bit while I chopped spinach and it thickened up great. Also, SO FAST to prepare, we will make again!
I didn’t follow the recipe 100%, but that sauce OMG, never would’ve thought to use beans. 100% creamy deliciousness. Definitely will make again.
Very tasty sauce. I used cooked pinto beans instead of butter beans and the taste and texture was good. I also opted to bake some mushrooms in the oven until crispy and used these as a topping, and this added nice taste and texture.
What a unique recipe and flavour for a pasta! Had it for dinner last night with the hubby and we loved it!
I liked it, it was simple to make but I felt something was missing in the end. A solid recipe but I think is missing a final touch to make ot really amazing
I wasn't blown away by this like I have been other recipes but I still liked this! It almost reminded me of Alfredo sauce. I did reduce the sauce and finish cooking the pasta in the sauce /added some pasta water at the end as well
Really easy and delicious! :)
Even though it wasbquite quick and easy which is a perk. The taste just doesn't come through enough and I add more than advised. It was also runny and I "had to" thicken it with cornstarch in the end.
It is ok. I like to use coconut milk with it and not other milks. It tastes better.
Nice
Not my favorite recipe on the app. The beans tasted out of place and gave an overall grainy texture. Also agree with the other comments about the flavor being a bit bland.
I made it with hot chili sauce . It haven’t got this “dark orange” colour but it tastes so yummy ☺️😉 It was so easy to cook it. Thanks this recipe. ✅
Not a big fan of this one. I had to add soy sauce because it was a bit bland. My sauce was also runny and not as vibrant as in the picture but I drained it and ate the noodles.
Easy to cook. However, overall flavour was a little bland for me.
Not it for me- the sauce was very runny and a little bland
Delicious and super easy to make!
Very delicious!!🤤
It was simple to make and yummy to eat. I replaced linguine with hearts of palm zoodle. My husband had linguine. We both loved how flavorful it was!
Amazing ! Just made it 💛💛💛💛
So far this is my favourite recipe. It's delicious. The sauce is creamy and flavourful. I did not add the amount of gochujang paste listed in the ingredients but a bit less. I would recommend everyone do so, you can still add more later on and adjust the heat.
Delicious
Delicious!
Tried this today and we tried to use cornstarch to thicken a bit the sauce but maybe not the best idea. We also added a bit of lemon juice on top & jackfruit together with the shiitake mushrooms and we liked it like that.
I love the butter beans as a sneaky way to add protein! Next time I will try chickpeas or maybe silken tofu to add that touch of creaminess. Added a dash of soy sauce to bump up the umami and salt, throw in some ginger to make it true fusion!
Very good. Definitely too watery for the sauce. Had to reduce it quite a bit to get the sauce to pasta ratio right. Would make again.
Very tasty and about 20min to make. But our sauce was a bit watery. The next time we try to replace soy milk with soy cream and less water.
It was really soupy, so I would recommend not adding the full cup of pasta water. I didn't like the flavor.
Very runny sauce that didn't have much texture. Will add some nuts next time and potentially lower the amount of pasta water added. Nice flavour though and huge portions 🙂
Absolutely delicious and simple to make! ♥️ I would add even more Gochujang next time 'cause beans somehow make hotness disappear 🤔 thanks to all PUL recipe creators 😘
If I was to make this again, I would add some ginger and soy sauce, the flavor was a bit too light for me this time.
We cooked the mushrooms for much longer than 3 minutes, but overall it is a really good recipe and it is delicious with less chilli paste.
Deliciously spicy and super creamy! A really nice quick dish. I also subbed the gochujang by tomato paste for my partner who can't eat spicy and that version was also really tasty.
Flavor wasn't there.
Delicious and easy to make!
Really easy dinner with sneaky protein in the sauce! Super delicious and very filling :) We added smoked vegan cheese on top as I love adding this to tteokbokki when we have it :) so yummy and can't wait to have the 3rd portion for my lunch tomorrow!
Delicious, but too spicy for my husband. Thanks God I like it that way :D
One of the best pastas I have ever made!!! Me personally, I LOVE a creamy and saucy pasta so this was absolutely perfect! And the taste is too good, 10/10!!
Delicious recipe! I think I would skip the green onions next time, but lovely flavors :)
So amazing. I couldnt find the Gochujang paste, so i made a mixture of agave, chili oil, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce. I’m sure it’s better with the actual paste but it’s still so amazing
Not a fan of this recipe, but maybe that’s just preference though? Sauce was a bit too milky creamy for my taste. Not sure Italian and Korean cuisine mix too well.
I was afraid to add so much sauce, but then I realized it wasn't enough. I will definitely cook more and now I will observe all your volumes!
Delicious!
Oh my god just made this and it was delishious!!!!! To make use of the things I had home I made some adjustments: I used vegan cooking cream instead of soy milk, and red lentils instead of butter beans. And since I dont have a blender i just made it straight in the pan. Added some basil. CHEFS KISS!!! 10/10 ❤️😍
Not my personal favourite – too much umami for my taste, and not much else. My boyfriend liked it, though.
Tasty
Sauce was creamy and spicy 🌶️ absolutely delish 👌
Definitely a new favorite! I was out of nutritional yeast and white miso paste instead. It was delicious.
The sauce is just divine!
Portions felt very large, but the sauce was really good!
Wonderful, tasty, easy to prepare... What more could you want?
I made this last night for a friend and she loved it! So rich and flavourful and didn’t make me feel too full after, I think it will definitely become a staple ☺️ I am loving this app, thank you so much!
Very flavorful and an easy dinner to whip up on a weeknight!
Amazing
This is a great recipe. I have made it at least once a week since I found it.
I have altered it a couple of times due to what I have had in the house and it is still delicious.
I have subbed (not all at the same time) chick peas (just blend longer), kale, fresh ramen noodles, and almond milk I have had great results.
I have also added a lot more Gochujang because I adore spicy and vegan mozzarella for a creamy twist.
Totally recommend you make it “as is” the first time BUT is has a lot of give and stays yummy.
Very tasty!! Easy to make! I am curious where the pasta water was supposed to go?
Great recipe. Made it without nutritional yeast since I didn’t have it in the pantry. Spicy and full of flavor. I would make it again.
I tried this tonight and it was insanely good! I tried a similar recipe that didn’t use any beans, but I like this better because you get protein from the beans and it also makes it a more filling meal!
Delicious! I’m very sensitive to spicyness, so I used half the gochujang (and it was still quite spicy for me!). It was good and weeknight friendly!
