This non-alcoholic sangria recipe has all the flavour of the classic, just without the alcohol. Made with alcohol-free red wine, fresh citrus, and a hint of warming spice, it's an easy vegan mocktail that's perfect for summer gatherings, celebrations, or a relaxing evening on the balcony. Ingredients
Red sangria

2 Tbsp (28g)light brown sugar

1 cup (240ml)orange juice

2 cups (220g)ice cubes, plus more as needed

2 cups (480ml)alcohol-free red wine†

1 cup (240ml)carbonated water (optional)
Directions
- Cut the apples and oranges into thin slices*.
- Transfer to the serving jug and add the sugar.
- Mull slightly with a wooden spatula or tamper.
- Add the cinnamon stick.
- Then add the orange juice and stir. Let sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes, or in the fridge for 4 to 8 hours for a more fruity flavour**.
- When ready to serve, add a generous amount of ice cubes and the wine.
- Optionally, reduce the intensity of the drink and add some fizz by adding carbonated water.
- To assemble, divide into glasses, garnish as desired, and enjoy!
