Back in university, I often made a boozy version of this watermelon mojito for summer get-togethers, usually with a splash of white rum. This is my virgin version, and it still has all the fun parts: juicy watermelon, sweet strawberries, fresh lime, fragrant mint, and a fizzy lemon-lime soda finish. Itβs refreshing and easy to make for a crowd, especially if you prep the watermelon mixture ahead and add the bubbles just before serving.

Hello! Can I make this recipe using fizzy water, with more lemon, lime and maple syrup instead of lemon and lime soda? Thank you!

Hiii friend, oouu sure! You can use fizzy water instead and adjust the sweetness and acidity to taste with extra lemon/lime juice and maple syrup. We'd recommend adding the fizzy water gradually, and tasting as you go, until you find the balance you like ππβ¨
