These are so good! I was surprised by how cheesy they tasted! The only problem I had was my food processor could not blend it completely, so I had pieces of bean/cashew in each ball. I didn't add the chopped cashews because of this. They still came out great and I will definitely make again!!
I don't want to bring down the ratings but it became incredibly strong on garlic (nsfw strong 😄) and mustard. Next time I will reduce these two significantly 😊
Call me crazy but I just made a batch of 100! These freeze perfectly, I take a couple of them out of the freezer every few days and put them into the fridge - a perfect savory snack to have on hand.
Yum! This is incredibly cheesey and very easy to put together for a quick treat when you have people over and not a whole lot of time to prepare.
I was happy to find a savoury version as energy balls are usually too sweet for me. These tastes good and are very easy to make. Next time I will have slightly bigger pieces of cashews for a little bit more texture.
J'adore tout simplement !
Oh. My. Goodness. I absolutely LOVE these. They're so delicious and savoury with the perfect hum of heat. I brought them to have with my lunch at work and ended up eating them at my desk well beforehand
Really enjoyed these!
Oh these are great! Super savoury & slightly umami & I really like the texture. I can see myself returning to these frequently!
Surprisingly tasty! The soft texture of the beans matches wonderfully with the crispy and soft taste of the cashewnuts. One hurdle though: although I did my best to get water out of cannelloni beans beforehand, the mixture was still moisty and I coudn't roll it in to balls. Quick solution: I let the mixture rest in the fridge overnight and it dries up from itself.
These look good also fried as patties. Maybe I will try that.
Thanks for the recipe!
I made these just as the recipe came out. They're tasty and hold up quite well. I must admit that I'm not the biggest fan as a snack by itself (I also wouldn't eat a piece of cheese as a snack, so that's on me), but I think they're great on crackers or bread.
This is exactly what I have been waiting for! Don't get me wrong, I love a sweet treat. But I've always felt that the world needed more healthy savoury snack ideas! Thank you!! Can't wait to make them!
