Vegan 'Bacon' & Cabbage Stir-Fry
Napa cabbage is a variety of Chinese cabbage that can be used for a lot of different recipes: pickled (to make kimchi for example), baked, steamed or stir-fried, like in this recipe. The mild flavour of the cabbage pairs wonderfully with the smokey, salty bacon bits and Asian-inspired aromatics.Servings

Tasty and a good use of cabbage of which I usually have much more than I want to eat in just salads. :-)

Made this tonight, as I am coeliac I couldn't use bacon bits or similar but had a vegan smoked sausage, so decided to use it and had a bit of white cabbage and a bit of savoy so used these both. I didn't have star anise but had 5 spice. It all worked out really great, a tasty and easy dish.
Loved this recipe, so tasty and and Easy way to enjoy cabbage. We used smoked tofu instead of bacon and It was delicious. We also added some crushed nuts for an extra crunch (although the recipe doesn't need it).
This is very good and easy to make! I have made it several times (with regular cabbage) and it is now part of my regular go-to recipe!
Delicious and packed with flavour. The spices work well together and it is a nice mix of consistencies.
Wow! I wasn't expecting this dish to be so tasty! I was a bit skeptical when I looked at the ingredients but, as always with PUL, all the flavors came so well together ❤️ Amazing! Definitely will be coming back to this recipe !
Best & easiest stir fry (recipe) I've ever had that was very flavorful. My grocery store didn't have Napa cabbage so had to sub with head cabbage & it still tasted great.
