This smoothie is like sunshine in a glass - bright, tropical, and naturally creamy. Quinoa adds a sneaky boost of plant-based protein and fiber, while frozen mango and banana bring natural sweetness and a velvety texture. We’ve used vanilla soy yogurt and canned coconut milk to create a lush, dessert-like richness that makes it extra delicious. It’s a great way to use up leftover quinoa, but if you’re swapping in oats instead, just use half the amount.

We had to freestyle with a non-frozen banana and subbing unsweetened tinned peaches for half the mango because we didn’t realise we were low. So added a handful of ice cubes as well. Still totally delicious and will absolutely be making again!!

Hi, I loved this smoothie, but more importantly I love this app t give me ideas for breakfast when I want something super flavorful. Like the other commenters , I didn’t have everything on hand, but the flavors were so bright and a the hint of nuttiness from the almond butter was chef kiss. I used coconut flakes, pineapple juice instead of OJ to lean into the tropical taste , and added whole cashews for even more richness.

I had some ripe mangoes from the tree and wanted to use them in a recipe. This smoothie was so tasty. I think the orange juice would add an extra tang but I didn’t have any. It had enough sweetness and was creamy. Delicious!

Yum! I didn’t have yogurt or canned coconut milk. I used my homemade almond coconut milk ams it worked great. I also didn’t have orange juice so I just threw in a navel orange. I used the oats instead of quinoa.
