Sweet & Spicy Nut Mix

This looks amazing! I am however not a fan of pecans - do you think I could replace them with Walnuts or is it better to just use a bit more of the other nuts that are already in the recipe?

Hi there, Chiara! Walnuts would be a lovely substitute idea for pecans. They toast up beautifully and we imagine they'd pair well with the spice mix! You can also just increase the almonds or cashews a bit if you prefer :)

Hey there, Anna-Michelle! We imagine it could work if you're okay with the flavour being a bit richer and more caramel-like. Date syrup may brown a little faster, so we'd also recommend keeping an eye on the bake time 😊

Little effort, great success! I find transfering the baked nuts to a clean baking sheet using a spatula prevents the nuts from lying in fat and syrup puddles while cooling off.

Great recipe, perfect as a Christmas present! When I first let mine cool down, they were still sticky so i put them back in the oven for a while, let them cool again and then they came out right. In case anyone is having the same issue, i hope this helps :)
